If you'd like to request time off or view your current balance, you can easily do so from the Time Away From Work page.
The TAFW page has three parts: a panel that displays your current available PTO balance; a calendar that displays a visual representation of requested time away from work; and a tabbed interface that allows you to view and modify upcoming requests, your PTO accrual history, and details about your time away from work plan.
To request time off:
Navigate to your Time & Labor page, Time Away from Work. Once on your Time Away from Work page, click the "Request" button at the top right of the page.
Select the date(s) of your request and the type you would like to use.
Enter the hours you would like to take off. You can see your total requested hours and balance remaining after your request at the bottom of this step.
Enter any notes or comments about that you would like to include with the request.
Review your request and click "Submit."
Your submitted hours will be routed for approval. Until they are approved, they will sit in the Pending status.
Requests Tab: You can also view prior requested dates, and modify future dated requests on the "Request" tab at the bottom of the screen. If you wish to remove a day you've requested in error, you can click the trash can icon next to that day to remove it from your upcoming TAFW.
Accrual History: If you accumulate TAFW at a set rate per pay period, you can click on the "Accrual History" tab at the bottom of the screen to view each change to your time away balance.
Current Plan Details: The "Current Plan Details" tab displays details about your time away policy for each time away type available.
