You can easily enroll in benefits online using StratEx's open enrollment module.
Navigate to Myself > Benefits and click on Open Enrollment in the drop down. Benefits available for enrollment will display. If you are not seeing any benefits or if the benefits are showing in red for closed, please contact your HR or payroll administrator to make sure the timing of your enrollment is correct.
If you have enrolled in the system before and wish to have a copy of your current enrollment handy as you go through the enrollment, click on Confirmation of Current Enrollment to have a PDF handy of your current elections.
If the benefit options show green, click on Enroll in Benefits. This will bring you to the enrollment Wizard.
First, review your address. This is the address that the insurance company will keep on file so it's important that it is accurate. You can make any changes on this screen. This will also update your Contact Information in the system.
Next, review or add any Dependents or Beneficiaries by filling in the fields including their name, address, and SSN and click "Add Dependent/Beneficiary"
Dependents are people that you can elect to be covered with your benefits.
Beneficiaries are people or an estate that will receive the elected benefit should something happen to you and the insurance is exercised.
Your benefit options appear below. Initial each option as you go through the enrollment, even if you are opting out. Review each option carefully and make your selection by clicking on the radio button or selecting from the drop down. Documents and links may be available under the benefit option to assist you in making your selection.
Dependents will automatically select based on the election chosen. For example, if you select an "Employee + Spouse" coverage, your Spouse will check. Beneficiaries need to be checked and designated as Primary and allocation under certain life or AD&D benefits.
The left sidebar is meant to assist you with you navigation of the page. It will show all benefits you have selected. You can click on these at any time to jump to that benefit and review.
When you have reviewed all benefit options and initialed all, click Complete Enrollment at the bottom of the page. Please wait as the system records your elections. A message will appear when this is done and the screen will refresh to the Open Enrollment page.
You can review your elections on the screen or by downloading the Confirmation of Future Enrollment. If you you need to make any changes, please click on Enroll in Benefits and make your adjustments in the wizard. This can be done at any time during your Open Enrollment period.
