This article will help you to enter a pay change on an employee's profile.
In order to navigate to this page, you will have to first log into the system and go to the page of the employee who you wish to make a pay change for. Once you are on the employee's page, you will click on the drop-down menu next to "Pay" and select the option that says "Pay Change."
Click on the "Start" button and then you will be able to choose a reason for this pay change from the drop down menu.
Choose when this pay change should go into effect by clicking on the second drop-down menu. The second drop-down menu will show you upcoming check dates so that the salary change will go into effect and pull through for the next check date.
Once you have entered this information, click on the "Next" button and you will be asked to select whether you would like the pay change to be either a dollar amount or a percentage. You can then enter the pay change amount into the box. After you enter the amount and click out of the box, you will see a "Preview" at the bottom which will show you the amount of pay periods, the old amount, and the new amount (based on what you entered into the amount box).
Click "Next" and you will be asked "Is this pay change being recorded retroactively?" You have the option to select "yes" or "no" here. If you select "yes," you will be asked to "choose an earning to apply the payment to," choose the date for when the pay change took effect, and enter in how much one time retroactive payment the employee is owed.
Once you have entered this information, you can add notes and then click "Finish."
