This article will help you to learn how to record job-related behavior that does not meet expected performance standards or job-related behavior that is not in line with company rules. In addition to recording the action, you will be able to record in detail the actions that were taken in response to the incident.
In order to navigate to this page, start by clicking on the "team" tab and find the employee you need to add a progressive discipline record for. Once you are in the employee's profile, click on the drop-down menu next to "Career Profile" and select "Progressive Discipline."
In the upper right hand corner you will see a button that says "Add+," click on this in order to create a new disciplinary record.
Enter the date of the incident.
Select the type of behavior you are recording the record for (e.g. tardiness, attitude, dress code, etc.).
Add notes to describe the behavior/what happened.
Select the action to take-- note that the system will suggest which action to take based on your company policies and set up.
Add notes to describe the action taken-- add any details about witnesses here.
Upload any supporting documents including employee signatures acknowledging the record. Using a mobile device for this step will allow you to take a picture.
Editing or Striking a Record:
Existing Progressive Discipline records may be edited or stricken from the employee's record using the edit pencil button in the table on the main page. Select either "Modify Record" to edit or "Strike Record" to strike the record. If editing, you may add additional notes or attachments before saving.
